NIKE The Switch (2016)

One moment can change everything. And in “The Switch,” we show global football fans what can happen when Cristiano Ronaldo rises above the most dramatic change in his life. After a nasty collision with an English ball boy, the two wake up fully recovered—except in each other’s body. The film follows the journeys of Ronaldo and Charlie Lee as they have to learn how to become brilliant while dealing with new bodies, new teams, and even a new mom.

Along with the film, the campaign includes several trailers, GIFs, posters, a social campaign led by Nike Football and the athletes themselves, and “Speed Room,” a spot highlighting Ronaldo’s new boot the Mercurial Superfly.

The campaign’s theme, Spark Brilliance, encourages players to be more than just a great individual—inspire your teammates.
